Why are my Nook and Ipod Touch suddenly not connecting to my wireless 2Wire router?

My Nook and Ipod Touch stopped connecting to the internet a couple of nights ago. Both devices have been connecting fine. Now I get a message from Safari that I am not connected to the internet. However, I am receiving a full signal from the wireless router. Further, the nook tells me that it is not receiving an IP address. I've tried a second router with nearly the same results with the exception that my wireless laptop will now connect and browse but still no luck with the Nook and Ipod Touch. I've been to the second level tech support with AT&T and they suggest trying still another new dsl adapter. Any ideas?

Nook or Kindle for a college student?

I go by the saying " You get what you pay for." In the case of the nook v. the kindle I would say the kindle, because while you are paying more for the kindle the are the best quality ebook reader I have seen and used. They are durable, within limits and user-friendly and generally good quality. The only thing I could like of that would be better is the iPad or the iPad 2 with an ebook/kindle app on it, but these are more expensive than the devices. My personal advice would be the kindle.

How do I get Bumble-Bees out of my basement?

My basement is unfinished and I play drums in a little nook in the corner, and bees just started showing up. At first, I just ignored them, then they started hitting me and it really freaks me out. Some of them have stingers and some don't. I've gotten like 8 out, but they just keep coming back. I always have a bad reaction whenever I get stung but I wouldn't like to spray pesticides. The reason I say these could be the answers is because some way or another the author has to have the same plot and setting as the foreshadowing. I am Roman catholic and I most certainly believe in the soul..when we pass its our soul that goes to heaven or Hell...if we had no soul than there wouldn't be a purpose for heaven and Hell...I personally know I have a soul because I was conscious when it left my body...its a scary feeling but I'm glad I experience something supernatural like that ..I woke up not being able to move ..my body felt dead but at the same time I was awake..I couldn't lift a finger and I was fighting so hard to move but my body laid still.

Turn Win 7 laptop into a wireless hotspot?

i have been trying all software that deal with internet sharing via wireless adapter, ranging from Connectify, VirtualAP, Dell Laptop to Hotspot Converter and some plenty more but I still fail to get the effect i need. am using Dell Latitude D63o with Win 7 Ultimate SP1 installed, for my internet am using a Huawei E220 3G Modem provided by Zain (now Airtel) with unlimited access. When I tried using Connectify, it kept on conflicting with the modem drivers, the remaining software don't seem to find my internet connection, I only get a '' on the internet connection display box so i cant share a connection through any of the remaining software. using Windows 7 Adhoc networking is also so inconvenient because whenever i protect my connection with a password, other computers fail to establish full connectivity ( i only manage to share internet connection when the connection is insecure). Please help in finding a software to turn my windows 7 laptop into a wireless hotspot hosting an encrypted connection and capabilities for other computers to establish full connectivity.

What is a good, cheap tablet, mostly for reading on?

I have an ipod touch and read d&d (dungeons and dragons) books on it, but its a pain because the screen is so small. An ipad would be good, but i don't have $300 laying around. Kindle has no backlight, thus it doesnt hurt your eyes when reading for long times. Kindle has moreaccesories and cheaper prices whereasthe nook has more books and features. Nooks have better warenties aswell.

Okay so I am not really supporting any side, I am apolitical or neutral basically but this question has been making me wonder lately. It depends if it was the nook 1 or the new one. the nook 1 was known for being slow. idk about the new one but it was supposed to be a lot faster. The nook 1 does freeze and it gets kind of annoying. if you mean that the screen flashes to black it is normal and it can't be helped. it's in all eReaders. its just the eInk getting rearranged.

Well I know it sounds bratty but would you like to respect your dad if he made you do laundry at 11:00 at night? And if your sister stole your charger to your phone and nook both dead now bc she lost hers and won't give it back so Ihave no access to my phone or nook. Not really sure about most of the stuff about how long it takes for things to happen but i thought i'd answer a few questions. Being in the scouts probably wont have any effect on your application, only to the extent that you may utilise many of the skills its given you. In terms of differences between the RAF Regiment and the Royal Marines, yes their primary role is to guard RAF assets at home and in the field, this does not mean that they never see action, they saw a lot of fighting and came under attack a lot in their attempts to make Kandahar safe, but i certainly wouldn't have thought you'de see anywhere near the same amount of action with them as you would in the Royal Marines, unless you are placed in one of the small units within the regiment that support special forces operations.

Taking a cheater back?

Me and my friend started dating in December. We had a short break up in March and got back to together the last week of March. Don't worry. Even us native New Yorkers still get lost now and then. And the best way to find your way around is to just walk and explore. Manhattan will be easiest for you to learn your way around since it's pretty much a giant grid--the majority of the streets are numbered. You might have to use a street map for a while and sites like hopstop.com (which tells you how to get around by train and bus). But after a while you'll be able to get places without even thinking about it, just from experience. That's all part of the fun of moving somewhere new!

Is it worth it to get a Nook Color for college?

Honestly, I wouldn't get it to replace your text books. What happens if a lot of your text books aren't available in digital format? Yeah it's easier to highlight and bookmark things but you can't just sell the books to someone else who might need the book next year and you can't sell it back to the book store. I would just stick with text books for school. That being said I have the original first generation Nook and I absolutely love it. I would definitely recommend getting it if you have time between classes and you don't want to carry novels around for you. Just be careful, things like that tend to get stolen so keep a close eye on it.

Can a party choose to do a mediation over the phone after it was scheduled to be done in person?

A mediation is scheduled for my husband and the mother of his son. Three days prior to this appointment, that was scheduled more than a month ago, she called and said she needs to reschedule because she will be out of town. My husband lives in MN, she in MO, and the mediation is in MO. My husband asked to have the date of the mediation be the same as his pick up date for summer visitation so it could all be done with one trip. She agreed to the date and now is claiming to be out of town on that date. She told my husband to pick up his son where she will be and that she will do the mediation over the phone. It was agreed upon to be done in person because the level of conflict they have is quite intense and more could be accomplished in person. Per the court order she is required to bring the son here if she isn't in her normal location on the date of pickup. The mediator will call tomorrow, hopefully to anwer his questions, but we are looking to see if anyone knows about this process now, as we have already booked and paid for hotels and train tickets to go to MO that can not be refunded.

I've tried icall for your desktop. Worked the first day but that's it. Even then it conflicted with other programs I have on my computer so I had to uninstall it. How do you polish aluminum on big rigs?

Ok so I first started off with sanding everything down with a 400 grit sander, then I moved up to an 800 grit sander. I started my polishing with a yellow airway and brown rouge. It looks pretty good, however it's not close to being a mirror finish. I'm also getting a lot of smudging, and cant seem to get rid of it. Just for kicks, I tried the white airway buffer and the white polishing bar and it made my finish look even worse. Is the trick of the finish in the sanding? I'm also doing one of those huge grills that are put on the truck in the event a truck hits an animal. Any tips on getting to all the nooks and crannies that the buffer wheel can't get at?

Xbox Ip address conflicts with port forwarding?

The Xbox Live set up I have is non-traditional. It is connected via using my PC as a gateway, essentially using the computers Internet connection rather than the Xbox being directly connected to a modem. The PC has a wireless adapter hooked up to it to connect to the router downstairs. For some background info: I use a WNDR3300 router and a Vista OS on my PC (not so great I know). This problem is originally derived from an NAT issue, however I'm sure I know how to solve it, the real issue comes from the fact that I can't take the necessary step to fix it. In my router settings, I can't port forward anything that doesn't have a one in the third digit section of the ip. For example, a static ip is typically 198.162.1.x. My Xbox ip is 198.162.0.x. The zero is the issue, and the reason I can't port forward. I've tried manually adjusting the ip address on the LAN connection to the PC and the Xbox ip to match, but it instead eliminates the Internet connection entirely. Help would be appreciated!

Im really confused about what I should do with my life. Im 16 years old and I get straight A's. My family members say I should be a doctor or lawyer. If he insists on being this way and refuses to let her have contact with the baby, then you should probably stay out of that too. I think that his anger will eventually diffuse, and you'll be able to talk some sense into him - but you have to wait until he's obviously ready to listen to some logic, or else he'll just end up getting mad at you too. If the sister tries to contact you, let her know that your trying your best to remain neutral in the situation, and how difficult it is for you to do that. Make it clear that this is not your doing, you're not backing it, and that it's not your decision to make. Hopefully she'll understand and empathize with the position you've been put in. I don't really get why people are so obsessed with what people think is better. Both products are good for their own reasons. Just go with what you will personally use more. I personally like the kindle a lot, but I don't hate the nook by any means. They are more or less the same product and choosing one over the other is a kind of bias. I chose the kindle because it is more ecofriendly and itcaters more towards readers specifically. The kindle is an all right web browser though it isnt the best. Well I have a black belt with 6 years of training and military combat experience on top of that. I can tell you that a full fight is going to go to the ground. Hitting first doesn't matter unless it's solid anyway. Protect your head at all costs. A body can take serious damage, but one good headshot and you're down and about to experience more pain. Basics of ground fighting will tell you to never let him get your back, because then you're done. Don't try any fancy leg/arm locks, as without extensive training, you won't have the strength or flexiblity to attain them. Go for the neck, it's the easiest place to attack...and continue to attack the sides of his head, or the back of the neck. You have to have the mindset that you're going to win, and that you're faster/stronger than the other guy. If neither of you have training, the mental part is what will win it. If possible try to take him to the ground by way of the legs at the beginning of the fight. Once you're dominating from the top, you can control what goes on. Also, bring a weapon for defense just in case...you don't have to use it, but be prepared to. A serious fight doesn't last more than a minute usually. So...don't wear yourself out with worthless attacks, use your energy only on well placed ones...and dominate quickly on the ground as his height could give advantage to him on the ground...K I think I'm done. If you want an e reader that will do that I suggest that you get a tablet like the iPad or the galaxy tab. If you get the eight gig one then it should be within your price range. You would have to get the kindle app or something similar and a text editing app. This would also allow you to do a lot more than any e reader.

Nook Color Setup help?

I know how to use the Nook Color, but I just got to the WIfi part of the setup. I am in the same room as the router, on a laptop connected to it currently. it is password protected. I typed in the right password on my nook and it said: "Remembered secured with WPA/WPA2 PSK" then it said "Authenticising" and then it said Disabled. WHAT THE HELL? and even when it does say Remembered for long periods of time, it won't let me click the gray thing that says continue with setup. As you can tell, I'm annoyed :)

Wireless mouse suddenly losing signal/range?

I have a logitech wireless mouse/keyboard combo (not even sure of the model..it's about 5 years old) and the mouse has suddenly (within the last 24 hours) lost it's range almost entirely. It was working fine one moment and then it began not moving/responding when clicking. I've determined that the receiver is fine, as the keyboard still works from over 10 feet away, however the mouse won't respond if it's further than 12 inches from the receiver. I've tried it on another computer and the results are the same...interference isn't an issue, it's the mouse itself. I've tried changing batteries, I've cleaned every nook and cranny to make sure something isn't somehow mucking up the internal radio...am I stuck with having to buy a new mouse? Like I said, the keyboard maintains its range, meaning that the receiver itself and interference aren't the issue.

In the eyes of God, can I date/marry a non-divorced woman if her husband deserts her?

[Let me say sorry this is so long but i feel its all necessary] I have been in a relationship for about three years now with a young lady with a now three year old, and i have let my moral compass go haywire to make thins work. Now, i see the need to get right with God, but i don't know if i can be with them and still be pleasing in God's sight. I really care for them, and don't want to hurt them, but i REALLY feel the need to get right with God, even if that means i have to leave them in order to pursue righteousness. I want to pray and seek God for an answer, but I recently learned that until i remove sin (especially known sin) from my life, God will not hear me when i pray. So i have told her that i intend to do what i feel will allow me to seek God with my whole heart, even if I must leave them to do so - she never really responds to my words though. In fact, i think she may be mad at the fact that i want to turn over a new more righteous in God leaf and that I'm asking her to make these changes with me in order to be together with me. I keep telling her that there's no love lost over this but that i still care about them and really want this to work out for us to be together still, but for some reason she keeps insisting that i just dont love her and that she's not good enough and that basically she is a victim in all this - when all she has to do is agree to be open to this new direction in life or admit that she doesnt wanna do the things needed to still be together under God. In either case, i'm conflicted because it looks as though i may be waivering in my resolve, especially as she is trying to manipulate me into staying with her and staying more or less the same - when im telling her that there are things we've entertained in the duration of our relationship that in God's eyes are sinful and displeasing to him and that for "us" to work she also must be 100% willing to give up these things and habits as well, to walk with me and not resist for comfort etc. I know she may be scared, but she wont admit it if she is, shes very distant on the issue and very non-responsive, non-sharing of how she really feels and what she really thinks, and just acting like im treating her badly when im trying to tell her to walk with me or let me go. I know its long reading, sorry. Thanks for any help.

i live in the US and am vacationing in the dominican republic and keep getting error messages saying my download cannot be completed. i called n they said its because im out of the country. i hate this. anyone else have this problem? any way to get around it?

It's not necessarily more pleasurable, but it's wonderful having more than one book taking up such little room in my bag when I travel. I cheated on my wife after 14 years of marriage and she went berserk. She's nutty as a fruitcake to begin with, but this unhinged her already unsound mind. Wrong! - Trust me, my wife can swallow near anything...I will leave it at that. Then I am drinking my orange juice and it tastes really bitter. I think she has been putting her muscle relaxants in my food - and who knows what else. I am so sick today. I have it coming out both ends. I can barely drag myself out of bed. That has never happened before. I love her so much but am a little scared. Am I being paranoid in thinking she is trying to do me in? Where should I go from here?

Call Barnes & Noble customer service right away and see if they can help you. You may just have a faulty nook. In that case, they should send you a new one for free. But don't take my word for it. I need help with my wireless internet?

I have an airport extreme base station wireless router. Before that I had the plain old linksys router that nearly every store has. When I was using the linksys router, every device in our house connected to the internet. Now however, with a much more capable router, some of our devices will not connect to the internet. We have 2 ipod touches, two MacBooks, a nook color and a ps3. currently, the two ipods and two computers will connect, but the nook and the ps3 will not. For instance if i unplug the router, then the ps3 will work, but one of the macbooks will not. we often have to reset the router each time we want a device to run, but that should not be the case. Each device has the correct password saved on them and has connected to the internet at least once in the past week. It is getting really frustrating. Any ideas?

I had a nook wifi but switched for a nook color,,iam answering your qustion tru one...in thw wireless area that appears in your screen,,you will see a long list of wireless signals show up,,next to some of these you will see a password required...sadly there is no way to access these wireless ones unless the owner of the router gives you his password to access his wireless signal...good luck on that if you can find the owner of the wifi signal........you can go to mcdonalds or some otjer places that have free wifi........i,am using a free wifi without password that the people provide where i live...you can say in resume i,am paying for it with my monthly apartmet bill..lololol.

I saw a Barbie laptop and thought it�d be a great gift for my little one. (6) Problem is, I have a conflict between my parenting side and my geek side. Computer looks very girly. Real laptop, not a toy one. With barbie prints all over it. Problem is, capacity sucks. Windows XP (seriously?? a 2012 computer that comes with XP??!!!) 1gb ram and 120gb hard drive. I dunno..
