What is the best e-reader?

Well the kindle and nook are both great but they don't allow you to edit your own text files. If you want an e reader that will do that I suggest that you get a tablet like the iPad or the galaxy tab. If you get the eight gig one then it should be within your price range. You would have to get the kindle app or something similar and a text editing app. This would also allow you to do a lot more than any e reader.
